The San Diego Illini Club has made a plan for a 56-passenger, chartered luxury bus to the Rose Bowl to see the Illini face off against UCLA. Gametime is 6:00PM on Friday, November 13. The Alumni Association and Illini Athletics are planning a large pregame tailgate so the bus will depart San Diego Mission Valley at 11am, so that fans will be able to attend this event. Bus riders not attending the pregame will be able to stay on the bus, bring a folding chair and sit by the bus, or make other plans such as walking, or visiting nearby.

Time: Depart San Diego Mission Valley about 11am with plans for about 2 additional pickup spots in North County. We will finalize pickup points in the next couple of weeks.

Bus Cost: Only $77.00 roundtrip. As in previous trips, if we exceed our minimum breakeven, we will use the additional funds to provide refreshments during the trip. If we do not, there will be plenty of room to bring your own food and drinks. We have chartered a Sundance Stage Lines modern bus. Sundance has been in business almost 50 years in San Diego and has an excellent reputation. They are very accommodating to work with. The bus has a bathroom, comfortable seating and many additional amenities. You can still purchase seats on the bus below.

Game Ticket: You can now purchase group rate tickets by clicking on the link below. These will be good seats, between the 30-yard lines, and about 10 rows above the entry portals. Because of the group rate these are tickets that normally sell for $154.75, and your cost will be $140. If you prefer cheaper seats or want to sit elsewhere, they are available directly from UCLA.
