UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS in NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Illini are the #11 seed for the NCAA Men's Golf Championship at La Costa Golf Course in Carlsbad.  The tournament will be held on May 23-28.  Our Illini have advanced to the championship 16 times in the last 17 tournaments.  Last year the Illini finished first in stroke play, but faltered in match play, when the top four teams all lost in the firts round.

The Illini tied for first in the Urbana Regional with #2 Oklahoma State at 15 under Par.  The Illini are ranked #12.
