Road trip to Eugene for big ten conference game against the oregon ducks
We MUST make a firm ticket order by March 19. If you want to be included in our Illini block with other Illini Clubs you must reserve ticket by noon on Tuesday. If you have already reserved tickets and want to cancel your order please email Denis at dhlougeay@cox.net no later than noon tuesday for a full refund. We expect to also refund a small portion of the $75 once an exact price is known.
Illini Football will travel WEST for the 1st time to play a conference game at a west coast school. Your San Diego Illini Club is coordinating with the Portland Oregon Illini to get group tickets in an All-Illini section with other western Illini clubs plus those travelling from Champaign-Urbana. The game will be on October 26.
At this time we do not know where the tickets will be located or how much they will cost. It is likely that we will not know either until about March 15. But group sales are expected to begin on March 21 and we will want to get the best tickets possible. So we need to be ready!
Effective immediately you can reserve a ticket in the Illini Block for $75 per ticket. As soon as we know the exact price and location, we will communicate that information and everyone will be able to modify their order, up or down, until the day before we actually purchase the tickets. Those who have a paid to reserve a ticket will get priority, and anyone who decides to cancel before we actually purchase the tickets will receive a full reimbursement. But we will not purchase any tickets without at least the $75 deposit.
We are confident that we can get a block of tickets for no more than the face value by ordering early and paying in full. We believe that $75 is realistic for the price, but very little information is currently available. The amount that you will pay will be a very close approximation of the cost to the Club.
